The Delhi government has approved eight important infrastructure project worth Rs 1572 Cr . which include the chandni chowk redevelopment plan as well as construction and expansion of three state -run hospitals. T he much delayed redevelopment of chandni chowk from lal jain mandir to fatehpuri mosque was also cleared by the committee. Under the chandni chowk project the urban development department will pedestrianize the entire stretch an estimated cost of Rs 65. 63cr.
